Why visit Bridlington?
One of the biggest draws to visit Bridlington is the long stretch of beach, which has great views of the impressive chalk cliffs of Flamborough Headland.
For a relaxing day out, enjoy a walk along the Princess Mary Promenade and make a stop for a coffee or bite to at one of the numerous cafes and restaurants that line the seafront. When the sun shines, Head to Bridlington South for a wider expanse of sand that will be a little quieter than the main beach by the promenade.
One for the kids
There’s an exciting new Splash Zone at East Riding Leisure, which offers two slides - Aqua Smash and Slide Champ - and a fun play structure, complete with tipping buckets and water toys. If you just fancy a day of relaxing with a spot of pampering then the Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room at the leisure centre will help you breathe a new lease of life to your day.
If your legs need a rest after all the swimming, playing and walking then jump on board the Land Train and enjoy a slow ride along the promenades, a great way to see Bridlington!
Boat Trips
If a trip to the Harbour Museum inspires you to take to the water yourself then book a trip on the famous Yorkshire Belle. This popular tourist boat sails from Bridlington Harbour daily from Easter to the end of September and offers a wide range of trips from a short half hour through to cruises of up to four hours in length. A trip on the Belle is a great way to spot the seabirds on the Bempton Cliffs, plus they also offer cruises with a difference including ghost cruises and a family disco cruise!

The Harbour Heritage Museum
For a spot of local history head to the Harbour Heritage Museum in Bridlington. The main exhibit is the sailing coble 'Three Brothers' built in 1912 which is moored in the harbour. The museum includes photographs, harbour history models, diorama of fishing techniques, video presentation and art gallery where paintings by local artists can be purchased.
